Stage 2 CR Tune
Every TDI needs this

I impressed my wife so much with the mileage increase on my '14, she asked me to have her '10 done. Fun factor went thru the roof, and the fuel econ increased too. Win-win!
2013 JSW 6spd MALONE Stage 2 DPF DELETE.
Posted by Evo Pana on 9th May 2016
I own a 2013 JSW which i bought new. At 22k i had APR tune installed along with a number of suspension upgrades, big brakes and wheels. The tune itself was great as it had higher peak torque at 2k RPM and made the car a lot of fun to drive. at 42k miles i experienced a very long and hot REGEN which caused the DPF to crack and fail internally. Dealer quoted 3000$ for replacement and of course that meant going back to stock tune which in my book wasn't going to happen. After getting some great reviews for Andrew and fixmyvw i decided to use the dealer card to purchase a buzzken dpf delete along with Malone stage 2 tune and Flashzilla. The tune is absolutely amazing! It feels the same way as the APR felt when i went from stock to APR... except now it was from APR to MALONE. Power is even higher even though on paper they are very similar in terms of peak numbers but what i didnt expect is the width of the power band. The APR tune peaked at 2000rpm and sharply dropped as the RPM passed 3k. With the Malone tune the power stays on consistently without any noticeable drop off until past 4500rpm and im sure that this is due to the removal of the restrictive exhaust. MPG is up too, i used to average around 42-44mpg, The trip to the installer i got 38.2 and the trip back i got 49.2 at 70mph with AC on without even trying. Goes to show how much the emission system chokes the engine. Thumbs up for the team at fixmyvw! Parts were of up most quality and shipping was extremely fast. The customer service was absolutely excellent! Thank you Andrew!
Big gains but tough to install

Love the tune. Seems to be a little temperamental and outside temperature seems to matter, but worth the money for the gains. Really wakes the car up. Only issue is the software is a little tough to use and install. The instructions and the videos didn't work well for my car. A little understandable considering there are a lot of models and years.
Power a 2.0 CR TDI should have

This calibration is better than the OEM calibration in every way. At cruising speeds it's smoother and quieter. Past 1/2 "throttle" it pulls significantly harder. Big, big gains 3k-4k RPM. Stock this is where they really seem to run out of breath.

I like the performance from this tune although I am not getting the mileage I heard from it. Maybe I just have a lead foot...
Wow, what a difference!

Better throttle response, acceleration, fuel economy, and reliability... What else can I say about it? Pure awesomeness. If you'd like to have a little trouble putting all your power to the ground (in a good way), this is for you!

After finding out about some of the issues existing in the stock TDI design I had the Stage 2 tune with the EGR and DPF delete installed about 3 weeks ago. The performance increase makes the car very fun to drive. Even driving normally the torque increase is very evident, making everyday driving more fun. An unexpected benefit with the tune was the increase in MPG. I was getting 44 before and now with the tune I am getting avg 50-55mpg. Awesome!!! I have a 2014 Jetta TDI
Fixmyvw is top of the line!

The owner explained the tune and what to expect. He hoped in the car with me for a test drive after it was installed to make sure I was satisfied. Rodriguez is a great business man and I look forward to doing more business with him in the future.

I felt like something was missing. This was it. Highly recommend to anyone with a TDI.
Fun driving got a whole lot better

I've referred to my 09 Jetta TDI as a utilitarian sports car. I simple, well engineered and fun to drive. The Malone Stage 2 & DSG Tune has made it a blast. I no longer dread those 2 lane roads with limited passing opportunities. I look forward to my weekly 2.5 hour dive. Thanks Mark & Andrew.
2013 jsw 6mt. very impressed.

this is the way it should have been from the factory. smoother, better throttle response, much more low torque ,surprising mid range rush. drives like a slow muscle car, gets the same fuel milage.
BEYOND EXPECTATIONS !

I had Andrew perform a Malone Stage 2 and DSG tune (with all stock exhaust/equipment). This was not inexpensive so I had done considerable research. I am so impressed with the results, I will have my Fiances Golf TDI done soon. My 2013 JSW DSG TDI now performs on par with my Porsche 911, except it gets MUCH better mileage.
I have put almost 2000 miles on this car since the tune. I have pushed it in nearly all driving situations. It has pulled effortlessly from 40 to 60 MPH (for city passing) and from 70 to 90 MPH on the interstate. The mileage suffered as I played with the new found performance, but I recently concluded a 700 mile trip averaging more than 44MPG so I know economy is still available!
Thanks Andrew !
Worth every penny

Andrew tuned my ECU about a month ago and I couldn't be happier with it. It was a complete transformation to the car and I feel like it's the way the car should have come from the factory. Thanks again Andrew!

I love the extra power. This is how the car should come from VW. Love it.
Best investment in my TDi I've ever made.

Before getting a Malone Tune, I had researched all the available ECU tunes for a TDi and read countless reviews on-line. Malone is the way to go IMO. Between the DPF delete and the Malone tuning, I can easily say my car is a whole new beast. There is no lag in power. I can also report that I'm also getting an increase of over 10% in fuel economy - WITH THE POWER! More Hp, Toque, and Fuel Economy = WIN WIN!
One reason to get excited about your factory warranty expiring...

Would have done this a long time ago, what a difference it made. Had the tune for 3 months now and have been pleased with the performance and economy. Car pulls through all the revs, but all the torque makes first gear seem a lot shorter. Andrew is a top notch guy and very professional. I suggest going to his shop to do the tune if possible, it only took around 2 hours with the test drive. Definitely recommend this to anyone with a tdi!
Simple and rewarding

The process was easy. Pulling the part and shipping it off to have it returned within 48hours was great. I really enjoy the extra power and knowing it is there when I need/want to move a little faster. Andrew Rodriguez was great to deal with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner.
