3" DPF and SCR Delete Kit for BMW X5D

  • EGR blockoff plate included along with a top quality exhaust clamp
  • 1 simple cut is needed before muffler to install this and all hardware included for a bolt-in installation.

Are you building a race car or converting a car to off-road use only?

Start by replacing the restrictive factory DPF filter and exhaust with this mandrel bent downpipe and allowing the exhaust to flow freely! 

This downpipe is built to last with 409 grade stainless steel and a high quality flex pipe, it will also retain the 02 sensors and EGT sensors as the proper bungs have been provided.

-Our cats are made specifically to our specs by Catco in the USA. The same lifetime can be expected as from the OE cat, assuming the vehicle is in proper running condition. 'Plugging' should not be an issue, assuming there are no engine issues.

Install Docs:

These are general instructions and they are not intended to be used as a DIY.

  • Remove all exhaust sensors that are accessible and/or electrically unplug them.

  • Lift car in air

  • Support engine with a transmission jack

  • Lower the subframe

  • Remove the Passenger motor mount

  • Remove DPF

  • Cut the stock exhaust under the line where the heat shield overlaps

  • #1 EGT and #1 o2 sensor are the only sensors retained

This is for the lower EGR cooler delete

The flat clamp will be installed at the end of the exhaust, connecting the new exhaust to the stock muffler system.  The pipe for the stock muffler system should be cut right below the heat shielding where one heat shield overlaps the other.

The other clamp will connect the downpipe to the midpipe.
